The egg should be fixed with correct orientation on an egg holder (see Appendix 7-2), which has a groove slightly narrower than the egg diameter.
1. Put an egg on the groove.
2. Rotate the egg with tweezers and orient its cytoplasm to where the injection needle will be inserted.
3. Push the egg into the groove and fix its position.
