Anesthesia of embryos using MS-222.
(A) Prepare working solutions of MS-222 (0.024%) in Yamamoto’s Ringer’s solution from the 0.4% stock.
(B) Place the embryo on the Petri dish and allow several minutes for anesthesia to occur.
(C) Observe the anesthetized embryo.
