Thawed sperm is diluted about ten times in BSS and observed under the same conditions as in Movie 4-2b. Here, the aliquot of the sperm shown in Movie 4-2b was frozen for 20 days in liquid nitrogen and thawed. Their motility, density, and fraction of moving sperm are normal (magnification, ×400).
