Brine shrimp (Artemia) eggs and nauplii. Since Artemia eggs can be hatched following desiccation, the dried cyst-like eggs (upper right) are commercially available (left). Eggs hatch after about a 24-hour incubation in 2% sea saltwater and the larvae (lower right) are the best food for small fishes, such as medaka.
